Save Asian Souls operates and directly supports operations in four Asian countries: Nepal, Laos, Thailand, and the Philippines. We maintain a network of safe houses in these locations sheltering vulnerable teenage girls and conducting community outreach activities to help alleviate poverty and suffering in these countries.
In Nepal, we operate a network of 25 safe houses that currently shelter 229 girls. Of these, 105 have chosen to be baptized into the church, embracing both hope and faith as part of their healing journey.
Our three safe houses in Thailand provide shelter and support to 27 girls. Ten of them have made the personal decision to be baptized and begin a new chapter in their spiritual journey.
In Laos, we support three safe houses that care for 30 girls. So far, 24 have chosen to be baptized and continue to grow in their faith as they rebuild their lives.
We operate a single safe house in the Philippines that currently serves 14 girls. Five have chosen to be baptized and are actively involved in learning and growing in their faith.
The fast-changing economic landscape in developing countries in Asia often trap entire populations in abject poverty. Dire financial prospects make Asian teens easy targets for human traffickers who forcibly transport them to locations where they are exploited for profit.
With the safe spaces that Save Asian Souls provide, we extend a lifeline to Asian teens for them to acquire livelihood skills, build brighter futures, and be safe from human traffickers.
Our goal is to find teens (appx. ages 8 to 20) in Asia who would possibly become targets for human trafficking and teach them the Bible.
